We are able to see clients in-person, virtually through our NousTalk platform, or by telephone. We request that all in-person clients continue to wear masks unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon with your therapist.
While therapists all have their own style, some aspects of therapy are more consistent.
The first few sessions may consist of confidentiality review, information gathering, and goal setting. Typically, therapists move into stabilization (helping you build distress tolerance and emotional regulation skills) before processing any past or current issues.
When you meet your goals and are ready to move away from therapy as a support, your therapist will help you with the transition.
We will not be able to give an exact time but are happy to give you an idea of where you are on the list. Please don't hesitate to reach out and check in.
